About CYG
CYG (Circuit Youth Group) is a Christian youth group from Bradford, West Yorkshire who meet every Sunday at 7:15pm in Wibsey Methodist Church. The youth group is for young people between 11 and 25 who aren't necessarily Christians, but will be encouraged to explore their faith.
On a Sunday night we spend the time talking, playing football, playing games or sometimes looking at our relationship with God and planning our own worship which we hold a few times a year. These are less conventional 'services' which appeal to young people more than traditional services do.

Several trips a year are organised; past trips have included Ireland, London, Sponsored Bike Rides, Conistone (for a reflectional weekend in the Yorkshire Dales), Skiing/Snowboarding in France and Breakout (a biyearly Methodist youth weekend).
As an extra, some members of the group are in a football team who meet most Mondays for training. The team also regularly play against a Muslim youth group's team from Lidget Green.
CYG in its present form grew from a Sunday evening group started at Wibsey in the 1980's. It became circuit based and developed as a younger group to Horton Bank's 'Sunday Joint'. The original age range was from 11 to 15 but as the older group dwindled it took on the role of the Circuit youth group.
